THE IDEA WAS TO CREATE A FUN CONVESATIONAL PLACE WHERE RESIDENTS CAN FEEL INVIGORATED BY THE ARTWORK AND COLORS.
There will always be trendy places to live, but the Filling Station isn’t about that, it’s about authenticity. Nestled at the heart of the Arts and Entertainment District, Miami’s newest cultural center, Filling Station Lofts lets you live steps from the Wynwood Arts District and the Adrienne Arsht Center, minutes from the warm waters of South Beach and the eclectic, ever-evolving Downtown.
INSPIRATION PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN ALL DESIGN
NORTH MIAMI PUBLIC ART CONCEPTS
NoMi VILLAGE
NoMi MURALscape initiative is a citywide mural activation. This initiative will reposition underused wall space and transform them into a tapestry of public art reflective of North Miami’s mosaic of historic film productions and music studios as well as the city’s longstanding support of the arts and creative expressions.
One of the things that makes our city beautiful is the easy access to beaches, the magnificent skyline, our diverse bird population, and the delicious mangos we are blessed with. In this artwork, blue jays soar towards the mango trees, seeking refuge and nourishment. Bees that pollinate the trees symbolize the abundance they bring to our city. As we gaze towards the Miami skyline in the distance, we see a brass portal to the azure blue skies that illuminate our city. The delicate balance of preserving our local wildlife is crucial to our ability to enjoy the water and beaches.
